La vie est belle.

Because my best friend Bethany (Simplicityisbeauty.tumblr.com) had been talking about it and I’d seen the trailer and roughly knew the story.

So I read the first book and finished it within a day and I thought it was absolutely amazing.

It was like nothing I’d read before and omg, it was incredible.

Then I read the second one and although I thought it was a bit predictable, I loved the romance between Katniss and Peeta too much to care that I was guessing correctly what would happen.

Then the third one caught me off guard. I felt really let down. It took me like a week to read it because it was so long and not interesting. I threw the book when they killed of Prim and started cursing to no one in particular.

I loved the ending, though.

So all in all, cudos to the series that pretty much revolutionised reading for me.

I loved it.
